Somers Historical Society collections originally
loaned to institutions for exhibitions outside of
Somers.

The Museum of the Early American Circus is
run by the Somers Historical Society and is
located on the third floor of the circa 1825
Elephant Hotel located at 335 Route 202.

The Museum is open to the public on Memorial
and Veteran's Day and every Thursday, from
2:00 to 4:00 p.m. or by appointment by calling
914-277-4977.

The exhibits are comprised of items from the
permanent collection, as well as changing
exhibits.  Permanent collection exhibits are
generally found on the third floor of the
Elephant Hotel, while changing exhibits can be
found on the 1st floor of the Hotel as well.
