Zion Church, Wright-Reis Homestead, Tomahawk Chapel, Elephant Hotel Participate in "Green Week" in Somers and join in spring clean-up and gardening at one of the Town's historic sites. | Click here for online calendar for more events To heighten awareness of historic properties throughout the Town of Somers, Somers Historical Society is scheduling house tours, open houses and concerts at various historic sites throughout the year, beginning in May 2010, National Preservation Month. National Preservation Month is a national observance organized by the National Trust for Historic Preservation to recognize and highlight historic properties, nationwide.
